CONTRACT STANDARD

Every incident logged, timestamped and escalated

Incidents are written up within the shift and escalated to your nominated contact — creating the record your insurer, HR process or SAPS docket will later depend on.

The anatomy of a usable report

A report written three days later is an opinion. A report written within the shift is evidence.

  • Time, location, officer on duty and parties involved
  • Factual sequence of events without speculation
  • Action taken and escalation performed
  • Photographs, CCTV timestamps and checkpoint scan references

Escalation thresholds

During onboarding we agree what is reported at shift end, what is reported within the hour and what warrants an immediate call — regardless of the time.

Using incident data

Reports are not just an audit trail. Aggregated over a quarter they show where losses actually concentrate, and that is what drives changes to post placement and patrol routes.

Common questions

How quickly are we told about an incident?
Anything above the agreed severity threshold is escalated immediately; everything else appears in the daily log.
Do you assist with SAPS statements?
Yes. Officers involved provide statements and the written incident record supports the docket.
